Outfitr ("Outfitr," "we," "us") builds a mobile app that helps you build outfits from your closet, ask friends for polls, and find shopping ideas when a look needs a gap filled. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
- Account: email, display name, age confirmation (16+), and market (US or India).
- Style profile: sizes, budget range, preferred occasions, palette, silhouettes, vibes, gender, and currency you set during onboarding or in Settings.
- Closet and saved looks: wardrobe items, saved outfits, likes, passes, and other choices you make in the app.
- Photos for closet import: outfit or garment photos you upload from your library or capture with the camera, plus extracted closet item media generated from them.
- Interactions: saves, shares, polls, and retailer link clicks, used to tune recommendations.
- Device data: basic diagnostics such as app version, OS version, and crash reports.
How we use information
- Run the core product: sign-in, closet import, Stylist recommendations, polls, and retailer handoffs.
- Generate personalized outfit recommendations from your closet, style profile, and interactions.
- Improve quality, diagnose bugs, and prevent abuse.
Closet import photos
Photos you upload for closet import and generated closet item media are stored so you can view and manage your closet. You can request deletion of uploaded photos, extracted item media, or your account data by emailing us. Deletion is permanent.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that host and run the app on our behalf, such as cloud storage, model inference, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers are permitted to use the data only to provide their service to us. When you tap to shop an item, you leave Outfitr and are handed off to the retailer; what you do on that retailer's site is governed by their policy.
Retention
We keep account, closet, and style profile data while your account is active. Closet import photos and extracted media are kept until you delete them or close your account. Diagnostics are kept for a limited period for debugging.
Your choices
- Edit or clear your style profile anytime in Settings.
- Request deletion of closet import photos, extracted media, or account data by emailing us.
- Sign out or request account deletion by emailing us.
Children
Outfitr is intended for people 16 and older. We require 16+ confirmation at sign-in and do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be surfaced in the app.
